A modular skyscraper that is the home of “The Daily Stud”, which delivers the latest news through the city!
This is by far my biggest build and it was also the most challenging one. It also took extremely long from the first digital design to the final build, since I was unable to move a stud for almost 2 years, due to building a real house. ;-) Most of the design was actually finished almost 3 years ago, so quite a bit before LEGO released the Daily Bugle. When that happened I lost the motivation to really finish it, but I finally re-visited it some months ago to finally finish it.
The skyscraper has 8 floors, which are fully furnished. It sits on two standard baseplates, is 107cm high and weighs about 16,2kg. The build contains 22.801 pieces and consists of 9 modules. It can be easily integrated into existing city layouts following the modular standard.

Lady Linn, M&M soundsystem feat.
Seen earlier in colour this was the B/W backup. The plan rather failed as the M8 held up and after a failure with the developer (Harvey's 777) five rolls lost, which were not backed up by the digital!! I will load some of the duplicates as I prefer the B/W rendering.
Mini quilt received from Denise (Sewz4fun) as part of the January STUD (Swap Til You Drop) quilt swap - Sing It, Watch It, Read It. This is the cutest little bird cage quilt, complete with a little beaded hanger, along with some pretty ribbons and charms. She also sent the lyrics to her inspiration - Mockingbird, sung by James Taylor and Carly Simon. I've had the song stuck in my head all day! It's funny that she chose this song, because one of my top three choices for the quilt I'm sending her was To Kill a Mockingbird - good thing I settled on something else!

Authentic studs - flat and gold. Counterfeit studs are larger and silver.
