Applying rules set forth by Stephen Shore I stood there for quite a while structuring this seemingly simple scene.
Rule; utilize all the elements at your disposal when creating your picture.
Those arguably irritating electric wires define the space and add to the depth of this scene. Also they work so nicely with that furrow in the foreground.

Europe, Portugal, Algarve, Sotaveno, Tavira, Rua de S Pedro, Industry building, Deconstruction, Worker, Blow torch (slightly cut from all sides)
A former modernist industry building where metal and aluminium frames for windows, facades and doors were constructed is being deconstructed. A worker is using a blowtorch to remove the metal support structure of the roof.
Two other captures of the demolition scene are here and here.
'Squeezing out sparks' is a pivotal album of Graham Parker and the Rumour. Together with the American and UK punk albums it turned out to be the way out of the stagnation and complacency of rock music of the 2nd half of the 70s (think symphonic and prog rock).
The soundtrack: Graham Parker-Mercury poisining, a track from the Squeezing out sparks album. A life version (35 years later) is here.
This is number 91 of the Gloriously dilapidated album and 93 of Tavira.
Detail of Cathedral Building, Heart of Worcestershire College, Worcester. Designed by architects Richard Sheppard, Robson & Partners. Completed at some point between 1965-73.
Perched high on a rocky cliff, the lighthouse lights the way in stormy weather and at night, alerting sailors to the danger of the nearby shore. As dramatic as this can be on a stormy night, the scene is peaceful and unspectacular in the warm light of the summer sun.
Thanks for your criticism and as always, favs, likes and comments are gratefully appreciated!
Metropol Parasol is a wooden structure located at La Encarnación square, in the old quarter of Seville, Spain. It was designed by the German architect Jürgen Mayer and completed in April 2011. It has dimensions of 150 by 70 metres (490 by 230 ft) and an approximate height of 26 metres (85 ft) and claims to be the largest wooden structure in the world. Its appearance, location, delays and cost overruns in construction resulted in much public controversy. The building is popularly known as Las Setas de la Encarnación (Incarnation's mushrooms). A detail of the Academy of the Arts in Berlin, which is, in my belief, a wonderful architecture - unlike the newer building close to the Brandenburg Gate.
Also I love this tiny camera. Always to have with me, extremely fast to shoot with and still under my control.
