On Scene with Prospect Volunteers as they battle a fully involved house fire on Matthew St. Hampered by no municiple water in the area, the intensity of the fire upon arrival, and downed live electric utility wires the crews were forced to take up a defensive attack. The structure had been previously abandoned and the origin of the fire is under investigation.

At the time I was at IBA - Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, Pakistan, it was afternoon, the light being very harsh but at the same time creating interesting shadows and patterns. This attracted me to first time turn on the “Noir” effect on my cellphone and shoot these.
I found it quite easy as I could view it in monochrome. I always say doing black and white on film is very difficult.
This beautiful structure housed some of the most brutal games in the history of the world. It could also be flooded, and naval games played in it's floor.
This is the edited version The reflected building is the Southern California Gas Co. Building. The Building is California Bank & Trust. Intersection of Hope & 6th streets. Taken from the entrance of the City Library.
