Doris McCarthy sculpture

Purchased my Sony Digital Mavica Camera that operates on floppy discs years ago. Have rummaged through every bit of my house for the last week for the instruction booklet. Finally found it in last place I could possibly look. Now I can try out some of the features I have never bothered with before.

Cokesbury College, built in 1856, and originally The Masonic Female College. It has also been used as the Methodist Conference School and a public grammar school. It has been named to the National Register of Historic Places and is the site of many weddings, receptions and cultural events.

I've been watching this mystery structure go up across the street on top of 475 H St NW.

This structure is being built on what used to be our astroturf sports pitch. It will house a temporary Reception, Security Base (the current homes of which are going to be converted into hair & beauty salons) and Flexible Learning Centre. It's gone up really quickly and looks quite impressive. You can see B Block at the back and the student canteen to the right. This is right next door to Isleworth and Heston Fire Station. I often used to see the firemen borrowing the pitch for a kickabout. Not going to be seeing that any more ;)

A weird structure, that oddly although theres light buld on it, it doesn't really turn itself on at night.

The Coca-Cola Bottling Plant was once a center of activity on the urban side of Indianapolis. With its construction completed in 1931, this art-deco inspired building was considered lavish for its time.
