The monochrome perspective of a bridge connecting two urban buildings emphasizes the harmonious connection between nature and architecture.

The patterns delineated here have not yet been classified by a Linnaeus of human bondage. They are all, perhaps, strangely, familiar.

In these pages I have confined myself to laying out only some of those I actually have seen. Words that come to mind to name them are: knots, tangles, fankles, impasses, disjunctions, whirligogs, binds.

I could have remained closer to the ‘raw’ data in which these patterns appear. I could have distilled them further towards an abstract logico-mathematical, calculus. I hope they are not so schematized that one may not refer back to the very specific experiences from which they derive; yet that they are sufficiently independent of ‘content’, for one to divine the final formal elegance in these webs of maya.

The suburbs of the big cities have huge concrete structures. They often become the support of a particular "Art Deco" that allows some initiates in this pictorial expression to express themselves very freely. Everyone can find his dreams, his hopes, his cries, his sorrows and his revolts. I propose here "Ma " own vision in these framing, and leave you to your imagination!

Shot at 2:00 at night in the empty London City. Amazing structures and lines. Almost a ballet for buildings

This image was taken last year at Botallack Mines in Cornwall. If I recall the conditions were windy which allowed for a break of sunlight to highlight the structure on the right. Decided to have a go at re-editing some of my past images.

Boasting 35 hectares of greenery and 3,000 m² of ecological gardens promoting biodiversity, the Parc de la Villette is one of the largest and loveliest green spaces in Paris. A multi-disciplinary arts and culture venue, it attracts more than 10 million visitors each year.

With 26 bright red ‘follies’ – architectural structures designed by Bernard Tschumi – dotting the landscape (each devoted to a different cultural or leisure activity), the Parc de la Villette is one vast playground for Paris lovers.

CONVENTO DI SAN BONAVENTURA E FONTANA : BY BERNINI

Ancient city of MONTERANO, already called MARTURANUM up to the sixth century AD, which, for sure, had the structure of the city for over two centuries before Rome.

This city, with different fortunes, became feud of the Orsini family in 1500, then became a fief of the family ALTIERI.

In 1670, Emilio Bonaventura Altieri became pope with the name of CLEMENTE X.

At that time, the town reached the height of fame and were created many important buildings, in particular were made by GIAN LORENZO BERNINI the CHURCH and CONVENT of ST BONAVENTURE, in the square outside the octagonal fountain and the facade of the castle: the PALAZZO BARONALE with a large fountain with lion with water coming down from more than 20 meters high, dominating the valley.

Colourful auroral curtains exhibiting very fine vertical structures and rays, and a mix of red and magenta tones as well as the usual oxygen greens. This is looking southeast over the Churchill Rocket Range on a Kp6 night February 26, 2023.

Had a friend bring me into his residence at this iconic building, so I spent half a day photographing the interior. Light did not disappoint; except for the occasional clouds blocking the sun, I had pretty much directional light the whole afternoon and evening.

Historically Yass, an important rural service centre on the Yass River, a tributary of the Murrumbidgee, was a town in the heart of one of the country's prime sheep growing areas. It was noted for its high quality wool and merino studs. Over the past thirty years has become increasingly known for its vineyards and its classy produce. By passed in 1994 it is no longer a stop on the Hume Highway but rather a quiet town with a broad main street, a number of attractive parks, a collection of handsome historic buildings

Some new pictures of the former Lakeville School's original structure. Later expanded upon and used by New York University's School of Environmental Medicine. Now abandoned for many years.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

-Abhu-Dhabi

In capturing this architectural structure, I aimed to transform a functional element into abstract composition. I chose an angle maximizing leading lines and dramatic contrast. The black and white treatment amplifies the scene's pure geometry, while perspective creates visual tension guiding the eye. My intention was to reveal hidden beauty in everyday architecture, reducing it to its purest essence: lines, shapes, and shadows.

Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney, NSW, Australia

It had been raining on and off all morning but there’s always something to shoot. Taking shelter under the bridge I thought I’d snap the under structure of the SHB… it’s amazing this was constructed without any safety gear or ropes!
