Not the best of photos, but still the best I have of the cats up untill now.........
Mama arrived at the animal shelter 2½ years ago, a pregnant and extremely scared, unhappy stray cat.
Zoen, Mama's daughter, was born at the animal shelter and followed mum's example ; hide in a dark corner and never let anybody touch you !
For 2 years cats would come and go, but nobody wanted 2 scared unsocialised cats like Mama and Zoen.
Happens that one of our previous cats was a very strongwilled lady who trained us well ....... when we read about Mama and Zoen, we knew they were just what we were looking for and hopefully we were just what they needed, so........
They have been with us for just over 5 weeks now.
The first 10 days they hid so well , we had to search for them with a torch each evening, just to know if they were still okay.
It was obvious they used the litter-box and that they ate the food we put down for them, but we'd never see them do it !
Invisible cats !
Zoen was the first to venture out of her hiding after about 2 weeks and Mama followed a lot later.
We still cant touch them, but at least we see them around sometimes ........ this evening, for the first time, Mama and Zoen lay together cosy and safe, on our chair near the heating. They didn't even run and hide for the camera !
We finally really have cats :))
One of the Pics I drew of Oliver the red Tabby as a adult, a character that simply uses his will and intelligence to survive as well as claws and teeth, no weapons at all, especially since he is a domesticated red Tabby Adult New York Cat
The 1-MRVSJ-17 aka the San Jose Turn approaches the American River bridge in the community of Arden, CA. if you look closely a young man is shown walking with his back turned to the massive freight train; not realizing just how many people have lost theirs lives every year due to this dangerous act of trespassing that could very claim this young life with sad consequences.
Trespassing is a serious act that has become all too common in the state. Nearly 60 people were killed last year, many of them struck by trains not expecting one to show up.
