Damian and I took his baby doll Silas out for a walk in the stroller one morning. (Despite the name, he says Silas is a girl.)
Sidewalk art courtesy of the neighbor kids.
This is the stroller we wanted from Target. We saw it on sale today and I worried that it was going to be discontinued, so we bought it. The pattern is called "Little Hoot;" it has owls all over it. Kawaii!!
This story behind this picture is kind of a long one...
Whenever Chuck & I go out with friends to a bar, we play this game we've entitled, "Stroller!" We sit by the window in a bar, if there is a window seat, and whenever someone walks by pushing a stroller, we all have to yell out, "Stroller!" and take a drink. Whoever yells out last drinks two. And if it's a "double-decker" stroller, everyone drinks two. It's happened before where a man became wise to what we were doing, and kept walking past the window, smiling while pushing his child in their "STROLLER!"
Best. Stroller. Ever: Micralite Toro. I'm loving mine so much I'm giving one away on my blog c/o Scandinavian Child:
At 7 months Tim can't walk or crawl yet, but this remarkable device - an "infant stroller" - allows him to propel himself around the house. Like getting his first set of wheels. A giant evolutionary step. He still can't reach the floor - so he walks on pointed toes with his arms held out wide. Natural window light.: 34mm f3.5, 1/100, ISO 1250.
Strollers & Wheelchairs
Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Williamsburg, VA
Near the park's entrance is this shop that rents out strollers, wheelchairs, and ECVs, as well as selling a few snacks and souvenirs. It was built and opened for the 2010 season, and rentals were previously located here.
The kid made it safely past the van door but I am not sure running and biking with kids down the wrong side of the road is a great idea when sidewalks are available. At least they were on a normally quiet street, no so much so now that Burton is closed.
I finally have more time to sew again these days. Here is one of my many projects - a stroller cover since my son always gets his stroller pad really dirty. It's such a pain to take the stroller pad apart from the stroller and then to wash it... Now, I can just take the cover off and wash that instead.
Front side is made from Japanese import fabric. (I had this fabric for a long time and now I have finally started using it.)
