A friend recently commissioned me to make a stroller quilt and matching tote bag for her sister who has just become a mum for the first time.

With a break in the rain on Sunday, I dressed both of the boys in warm clothes and headed out for a stroll through the neighborhood. I didn't realize until I was already walking that this was actually the first time I've taken them out together on my own.
How bizarre is that? Twenty-one months old and their first time out with only Mommy. Of course, we've taken them several places with both of us, and taken each of them out separately quite often.
We recently gave up our big, bulky, car-seat-carrying double stroller and ordered a new lighter, side-by-side jogging stroller once Avery got off of daytime oxygen. Unfortunately, the new one we chose was backordered and still hasn't shipped.
Meanwhile, we picked up this used lightweight travel troller at the Twins Club garage sale last weekend for a bargain at $10. Yesterday's walk alone was worth way more than that.
He's not big enough for the light stroller yet, but he loves to sit up so much that he's happy to sit in it.
This is the Metamorphosis stroller by Baby Bling Design. It is covered with rhinestone-studded flame fabric, and it's shown with the optional electronics package: dvd player & mount, and lighted undercarriage. [emphasis on the 'carriage.']
There is also a lot of sheepskin, custom sheepskin car seat covers, to be specific, going on in this booth. They look like zebra or tiger stripe
Kayleigh and Tito. Kayleigh has Congestive Heart Failure and Cushing's Disease so she is restricted from running, jumping, etc. - ergo the stroller. She also doesn't tolerate heat and humidity very well. Tito is just along for the ride.
Members of Stroller Strides, a fittness group for new mothers, meet weekday mornings at the Tanforan mall to workout while spending time with their children.

Snapping the carseat on to this frame makes an instant stroller, and you don't even have to wake up the baby. This stroller system should work until the baby outgrows the carseat. By that time, the baby should be strong enough to sit upright in an umbrella stroller (for driving trips) or a jogging stroller (for neighborhood trips). Source: Craigslist.com.
