My quad stroller was a lifesaver when the kids were small. It literally was the difference between getting to go out in the world and being stuck at home 24/7. I took this picture when I got done grocery shopping one day - and this is how I always shopped: pushing the stroller with one hand, pulling the cart behind me with the other. Yeah, we were a spectacle and a half, but hey - I had some independence!
i saw an old black woman walk into the magazine shop on Vanderbuilt and DeKalb and leave three small dogs. one was in stroller and looked like i might have had bad vision.

Edward Windsor Kemble (1861–1933) was a prolific pen-and-ink illustrator of ethnic types, often in humorous situations. He illustrated stories in Harper's Weekly and early editions of Uncle Tom's Cabin. His most famous efforts are illustrations for the first edition of Huckleberry Finn.
With a break in the rain on Sunday, I dressed both of the boys in warm clothes and headed out for a stroll through the neighborhood. I didn't realize until I was already walking that this was actually the first time I've taken them out together on my own.
How bizarre is that? Twenty-one months old and their first time out with only Mommy. Of course, we've taken them several places with both of us, and taken each of them out separately quite often.
We recently gave up our big, bulky, car-seat-carrying double stroller and ordered a new lighter, side-by-side jogging stroller once Avery got off of daytime oxygen. Unfortunately, the new one we chose was backordered and still hasn't shipped.
Meanwhile, we picked up this used lightweight travel troller at the Twins Club garage sale last weekend for a bargain at $10. Yesterday's walk alone was worth way more than that.
This is my first modified stroller. Pedal car chassis with a attached pushing handle and related frame work.
