On this one I felt the water surface was painted with strokes of light.

Poppy quickly became very fond of Autumn.

It was also the first time Autumn showed any real interest in an animal and enjoyed stroking Poppy's fur and having her hand licked. Even an accidental lick on the face didn't faze her.

So I didn't make it to Splendour this year... but I did manage to score a pass to shoot The Strokes. Notorious for their disdain for photographers I think I was lucky to have anything turn out... although I still think I could have done better given another song.

Strokes in Minneapolis taken with my CELL PHONE!!....if only my camera wasn't broken.....

This turtle was found back-stroking swimming for some reason. I've never seen a turtle back-stroke swim before so this was interesting to watch.
