So here as i promissed finally the pictures
of the layout.
140 x 140 studs.
The whole last years work next to the other projects i finished.
Endless bricklink orders.
Endless hours watching the movie to get the things right.
Still a few things are missing i have to add until i propably present it at the LEGO Fanwelt event end of this year.
The part with the black tiles is still under construction with a few more smaller buildings, but for the last exhibition there was no space to walk around the layout anyway, so i saved some time building them.
This is my biggest layout so far.

I bought myself another leather case for my double stroke Leica M3 camera. I went with an old original M3 ever ready case in average shape. The front cover (or nose) had some minor tears where it folded but surprisingly the rear plastic window that shows the ISO/ASA was intact. This often cracks and has cracked on my other case. Anyway the purpose was to remove the front part and use it as a half case.
Without too much effort I managed to remove the brass rivet and avoided creating too many marks on the case. I’m happy with the result and I think it will work fine.
Long term I think I will attempt to repair the front (or get my brother to do it) and replace the rivet hole with a press stud so I can have the best of both worlds, a half case when in use and a whole case when being stored.
My first trip to Costco after my stroke. I used the grocery cart for support. I left the walker in the car.
This one has brush strokes added to it, because it wasn't all that sharp, but I liked the color and the pose.

The wispy clouds look like they were painted on the dawn sky on this very early summer solstice (5:43 a.m.) and are nicely reflected in the calm bay water. I was out there entirely alone - no dog walkers, no kayaks or motorboats or sail boats, even the birds weren't awake yet ! A peaceful and perfect start to the day.
