A gift from my mother in law, although my friend calls them my "stripper shoes". What color shoe goes with everything? Transparent! From Meijer.
Since I spent $50 on this silly lamé dress, I feel I need to get my money’s worth out of it. I wore it to work and then wore it again to trivia.
Jacket and tee, Forever 21. Cardigan, Wet Seal. Silly lamé dress, American Apparel. Leggings, Danskin. Boots, Playhouse. Owl charm, vintage. Key charm, Ren Faire.
This dress falls dangerously close to the stripper-wear category, except that it’s really hard to get off. The poor girl would end up hopping around in her Lucite heels with the dress stuck over her head and shoulders. Blinded, she’d trip, bang her head on the pole, and be totally done for the night.
I was also totally done for the night, even without a head banging.
Got back in SL recently after a long absence. Met up with my friends Jaxi and Kimo.
So where do you go when you have not seen your friends in awhile...
Kimo suggests a Strip Club...

In April 1980, 03073, complete with it's match wagon, hauls the empty coaches from the 1205 Kings Cross to Hull out of Hull Paragon station.
The locomotive's appalling external condition was due to repeated trips through the carriage washing plant.
The cleaning product used required that after application, cleaned vehicles were thoroughly rinsed to remove the acidic product. If not rinsed correctly, the product had an interesting side effect of acting as paint stripper.
This photograph appears in Mark Jamieson's book 'The Era of Rail Blue'.

"Free the Jena 6" on the other side.

Moose of Grand Teton
Moose are the largest member of the deer family and love cold weather. They frequent marshy meadows and edges of lakes and streams. About 800 Moose inhabit the southern part of Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park and surrounding national forests. Moose are most heavily concentrated in Grand Teton Park.
To keep from sinking in mud while feeding, as the animal lowers its foot, a large dewclaw spreads to better support the weight. Similarly, the odd-looking crook of the hind leg allows a Moose to pull the leg straight up, more easily releasing it from deep, sucking mud.
Bull Moose lose their antlers anytime between December and March. Most of the Moose drop them in January. Immature bulls may not shed their antlers for the winter but retain them until the following spring. Female Moose do not have antlers.
A new set of antlers begin to grow the following spring, nourished by the covering of furry skin known as velvet. They take three to five months to develop fully – the velvet is then scraped and rubbed off against bushes and branches. The antlers are then ready for battle. Generally, each set of antlers will be larger than the one before.
Birds, carnivores, and rodents eat dropped antlers as they are full of protein and Moose themselves will eat antler velvet for the nutrients.
Take note—cow Moose with young can be particularly dangerous.
