The Shed is an open‑air café and gathering space located near the base facilities on Cypress Mountain, set within a stand of coastal evergreens.
The structure consists of a simple wooden frame with overhead string lights and communal seating arranged around barrels and outdoor tables. Visitors often gather near the central fire pit, which provides warmth during the cooler conditions typical of the mountain’s elevation.
The surrounding forest and the informal layout contribute to a relaxed, rustic atmosphere, contrasting with the more developed ski infrastructure nearby.
During late‑day and evening hours, the space becomes a social point for hikers, skiers, and sightseers, offering a sheltered place to rest while remaining closely connected to the natural environment of the North Shore mountains.
