While shooting in Chicago last weekend, I noticed this rather dapper looking dude dozing in a Starbucks. He must have been drinking decaf :) I don't usually get this cozy with my candids but, hey, sometimes we all need a hug :) Enjoy your weekend friends!

Our second visit to the lovely town of Hudson, NY, but this time we brought one of Catherine's friends with us. I grabbed a bunch of shots of the buildings, Federal style mostly built in the 1850's, and shops on Main St along with some interior shots of the shops we visited. But, this time, I challenged myself by bringing only one lens, the 70-200, which may, or may not be the right choice because of it's lack of the wide end...but challenges like this can be fun because it forces you to look at things a little differently. Many more to come, and hope you enjoy.

There's always the other side of the coin in Hudson.

A lad sends his kite soaring skyward in Chiangmai Province. Greetings friends! I'm back from a memorable month of traveling around Thailand. I now find myself busy with some other trips and responsibilities closer to home. It will be a few more weeks before I'm back to regular posting and commenting. I hope all is well! I'm looking forward to catching up on your latest photos ... and to sharing more Thai-lights from my journey :)
