Streamlined, Poema Utrecht, 28-05-2010. Sorry for the week delay before uploading the set(s). Maar het was een zwaar weekend zo, met 2 top-trance parties. Friday: 28/05: Streamlined, het laatste trancefeest in de Poema :( En zaterdag 29/05 mijn verjaardag om 00.00 uur in de Westerunie tijdens de Armada Night. Streamlined my color change process with Simplify3D. Only thing I need to watch out for-- the swiping between layers. In this case, it was hitting one of my blue jays.

Streamlined - Christmas Special. Tweede kerstdag, een mooie gelegenheid voor een mooi feest, zo aan het eind van 2009. En dat was Streamlined zeker. Een van de laatste en tegelijkertijd beste feestjes van het afgelopen jaar 2009! Met meesterlijke sets van Aly & Fila en mr. Streamlined himself: Leon Bolier. Heerlijke sets van hen beiden die avond, zonder de overige dj's te kort te doen overigens. Het klopte allemaal deze avond/nacht. Ik heb een topnacht beleefd tenminste :) En nagenieten kan ook nog eens een keer. Met de livesets van die avond (live broadcast van Afterhours.fm, thx. guys) en natuurlijk de geweldige yearmix 2009 van Leon! Bijna 4 uur intens (na)genieten! De mooiste tracks van 2009 komen nog een keer langs, meesterlijk gewoon! Thx. Leon! En allemaal de beste wensen voor 2010 natuurlijk. Ik hoop jullie snel weer te zien op een mooi feest!

The Chrysler Airflow is an automobile produced by the Chrysler Corporation from 1934 to 1937. The Airflow was the first full-size American production car to use streamlining as a basis for building a sleeker automobile, one less susceptible to air resistance. Chrysler made the first effort at a fundamental change in automotive design with the Chrysler Airflow, but it was ultimately a commercial failure.

Carl Breer, along with fellow Chrysler engineers Fred Zeder and Owen Skelton, began a series of wind tunnel tests, with the cooperation of Orville Wright, to study which forms were the most efficient shape created by nature that could suit an automobile. Chrysler built a wind tunnel at the Highland Park site, and tested at least 50 scale models by April 1930. Their engineers found that then-current two-box automobile design was so aerodynamically inefficient, that it was actually more efficient turned around backwards. Applying what they had learned about shape, the engineers also began looking into ways that a car could be built, which also used monocoque (unibody) construction to both strengthen the construction (the strengthening was used in a publicity reel [1]) of the car while reducing its overall drag, and thus increasing the power-to-drag ratio as the lighter, more streamlined body allowed air to flow around it instead of being caught through upright forms, such as radiator grilles, headlights and windshields.
