Walking by this little stream was to much of a opportunity to pass by. It was a little wet and muddy but well worth it.
Taken in The Great Smoky Mountains, in Elkmont. Was there to see the old houses, and came upon this beautiful stream, accidentally!! Thanks for looking and God Bless!!
Found a new valley to explore yesterday. Didn't have near enough time to work to far upstream. Looking forward to finding the time to go further.

This was a wonderful morning hike at one of my favorite spots in Oregon. The mist drew me to this area as I knew it would provide a certain magical quality. It did.
A river has it all for refreshing your moods. For this scenery it just a murmuring, further on you get the noisy falls.

Standing beside a small stream on a sunny April afternoon in Scotland I was taken by the play of light on the water; it seemed like it was flowing with the current. Above the bare trees lining the edge of the stream were silent observers. I wanted to capture this in a single frame so played around with multiple exposure. This is the result.
