Stranger on the horse. casual shot in the park at the foot of the New Jerusalem Monastery. cloudy weather, it is snowing
There's a story behind this portrait. I was walking around the city when someone behind me asked if I could take a photo of her. I looked back and there she was! I never speak to strangers (remember my mom's warning!) but I had to say "of course". A second later, she threw her backpack and coat on the ground and started posing!! I mean, fashion shoot posing!!!! :))))) When we were done, I asked how was she planning on getting these photos. She suggested posting them on Twitter. I am not a Twitter person. I countered her offer with mine - Flickr. She never heard of it. :))) She decided to give me (!!!!) her email address... A few hours later, after a little editing, I attached them and sent the email to her. Guess how this ends... she gave me a wrong address. :)) As they say, only in NY! :)))
Steve: Yep, I can count.
Robin: You know that means you suck?
Steve: Yep, I can read, too.
Robin: Since when?

You had to shimmy past other walkers because the snow off the packed path was so deep. From a fabulous break in Lake Louise just before the world shut down in 2020.

Thank you to the stranger Jonny for sitting for me :D
South-America is the home of the Cannonball-tree, but this one I have seen at the Airport of Koh Samui/Thailand.

Stronger than her moods

It’s just an old grain structure on a country backroad, but it seemed interesting enough for a shot. Rusting away, abandoned....but striking against a blue fall sky, at least to me.
When mom talks we all listen, but we are still allowed to stare at strangers.

Been in SL since 2007.
This August 22nd I'll be 12 years in this world that I live in, just like I live in my RL. No lies at all!
I can't accept one simple lie - either in SL or in RL.
So, we met in this metaverse reality, like eight years ago?
You were never easy, I was never easy.
I'm not easy at all and you never left. Kept coming back to me, with your own truth and me with mine.
This is probably the last image we take ...
... before we meet in person!!
I only have to be grateful to you, the one who lever left. The only person who never left me, despite everything I carry - good or bad, you always believed in me, trusted me. This is priceless in life, either real or "imaginary".
Can't wait to see you!
This time, I know I'll be completely vulnerable.
Thank you M!

A black and white, long exposure, landscape image of two strangers standing in awe in front of Skógafoss in Southern Iceland.
I have been working on this image for quite some time now, returning to it from day to day. I think I am finally happy with this completed edit. I don't normally do black and white landscape images but I really think this one benefits from that treatment. I hope you all like it too. :-)
A lone sundown walker.
I titled this sundown image, 'Stranger Danger'......when in all actuality, there were likely no threats at all.
This person may have had a dog on lead.
I especially like how parts of this lone stranger seem to be missing from the image. The light reflections on the bench seat and the top of the backrest, give the illusion that he is partially invisible.

These dancing trees are just epic, especially the mood it gives during foggy conditions, reminds me of the show Stranger Things
This photo is special to me because it was my first time to ask a complete stranger if I could take her photo. I was sitting outside on a patio having a beer when I noticed her at the next table. I finally drank enough alcohol to get my courage up to ask if I could take her picture. She said yes and then invited me to come see her perform at a local variety show and photographer her there as well.
The genderbent cast of Stranger Things is coming to a Talent Show near you!
