Strange and unusual sounds abound at the San Louis National Wildlife Refuge. Have a look and listen at www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/American_Bittern/sounds .
Warm and cold low level LED lighting puts focus on the foreground.The milky way has barely risen above the horizon. A surrealistic landscape in the Wilderness Study Area of Ah Shi Sle Pah in New Mexico.
This is an image I have wanted to attempt for a number of years now. It is strangely adjacent to a major highway and a challenge to achieve. However, this time it appeared possible to go for it. In the past we have always been busily racing home from an outing and the timing was always wrong with a car full of family.
Now, I was on my own and the highway was not too busy. Part of the challenge is just stopping because the highway shoulder is barely wide enough. Cars are whizzing by at 120K. However, the conditions were right to grab this shot and this is the result.

Always alone, while strolling along these fractured shores.
Biding my time, ever soaring up high with shooting stars.
Cracking a smile, while singing quietly these unheard songs.
Drifting inward, and laughing nonstop to a strange inner space.
Continuing the "Nature on Ice" series. Getting back to some more experimental cosmic candy. I'm still trying to get some Winter ideas out of the bucket. Spring shall return shortly. Wishing my Flickr friends a wonderful weekend!

Sorry,I forgot to say,this is a tunnel in Herculane,Romania.It also has the role of sidewalk cause there are cars on it's outside.I don't normally take shots like this but I was amazed by all those lines! :d I'm used to abstract drawing but not to abstract photography but one can never know,I'm still trying to define my stile cause now I photograph whatever draws my eye,lol!

A squirrel repurposed an abandoned robin’s nest in one of our lilac bushes, using it for hickory nut storage. Quite clever!

Due to the spread of COVID-19 infection, I reluctantly took a picture at the nearby Nogawa Park.
It was a place with low expectations, but I chose a photo that I could show to everyone.
First of all, it is a strange plant that I have been addicted to recently.
