Titan Motorsports is a long-time HRE dealer, so when we announced the new R40 Motorsport wheel that was engineered with the same technology that went into the wheels on the 2010 Grand-Am GS Championship winning Fall-Line Motorsports BMW, Nero from Titan was on the phone in a heartbeat.
The car itself is a serious street/track contender, with mods ranging from tuned suspension and exhaust to a StopTech Trophy Sport big brake system, Vorsteiner aero mods and more. Since the car is also used for demonstrations on the track at driver education events, Nero wanted the lightest, strongest, performance-proven forged wheel he could get.
The new HRE custom forged, mesh-style, 6061-T6 aerospace grade aluminum wheel is incredibly light (17.5 lbs and up) yet precision engineered to stringent German TÜV specifications in HRE's TÜV-approved manufacturing facility for ultra light weight, high strength and unsurpassed quality. Nero went with a Satin Black finish, but Satin Silver, Brushed with Clearcoat and other custom colors and finishes will also be available. The R40 is available in 18" diameter and widths ranging from 8.5" - 12" in Multi-lug and Center Lock versions. The R40 also features a rattle-gun friendly open dish shape for fast wheel changes!

17x9.5" ET35 and 17x10.5" ET27 with 255/40/17 and 275/40/17 Nitto NT01 tires. A 12mm wheel spacer is used in the front for the tires to clear the lower spring perch. This wheel spacer also gives assurance in clearing the Stoptech 355mm big brake kit. -3 degrees camber in the front and -2.7 in the rear. The car also has KW V3's with a linear spring conversion.
