While I've seen ribbon pins and decals on all sorts of stuff, on vehicles they are generally pretty large. Thus, when I spotted this very small ribbon (admittedly on a commercial vehicle) I was shocked at the small size - I'd estimate it at about 1.5 inches tall
7:41AM: I can't remember the last time this light hasn't stopped my on my way to work. These bloody stop light can vary the drive time from about 15 minutes to 30 minutes depending on how I hit them. Usually I only hit three and its about that quarter-hour drive. Today it was a few more and took nearly 25 minutes.

This is a motion-detecting stoplight placed at the end of a bridge undergoing construction in Dawson - these stoplights were needed at both ends because the bridge was reduced to one lane and it was not possible to be at one end of the bridge and see over to the other. North Dakota makes use of stoplights like these at numerous bridge and road construction projects.
Although I put a tag humour on here, this is a serious and existing sign (see map) in the centre of London
