Stopped for the paving of a country road one night, I wanted to see the effect of capturing the flag person silhouetted by the bright equipment light, as well as illuminated by the car lights. Not sure which I like better: the monochrome (B&W) version, or the colour one. Be interesting to see which one gets the most faves (if any)!!! ;-)

The theory states that minorities are disproportionately exposed to harmful by-products from industrial processes, such as toxic waste nuclear, air pollution and contaminated soil and water resources.

An initiative by EUmans! addressed to the candidates of the 2024 European Elections: we ask to stop direct and indirect subsidies to intensive farming, an agri-food model that is no longer sustainable, as shown in the film Food For Profit.
Let's stop allocating European funds to an industry that pollutes the planet and mistreats animals.
Taken at the underground train station of Delft. I wanted to isolate one person in front of a riding train, which was quite difficult since the platform was crowded with passengers. I had to walk around and act fast, therefore I couldn't use a tripod.

My "message from the universe":
When you've done all that you can do, and you still feel like you have so much further to go, when you feel like all that you have to give still isn't nearly enough, when it seems that you will not be able to keep up everything that needs to be kept up for one minute longer...
...stop and breathe.
Yes... that's exactly how I feel. So I did. Stop and Breathe. It was good.
It was before 8am and I was out of the house, standing in a brook (well, OK, standing on a rock in a brook!) in 28 degree weather... taking in what may be the last of the fall color. And even more miraculous than being out before 8am is that I WAS NOT COLD!!! What's this world coming to.....?!! YEY me!!
This is a genuine Russian cannon from the Crimean War (1853-1856). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimean_War
Today Mr Putin is deploying far deadlier weapons against Ukrainian civilians. Illegal weapons such as Thermobaric and Cluster bombs. All in the name of an illegal war to steal another country.
Mr Putin if you want to save the world from disaster, STOP THIS WAR! Muzzle your weapons like this cannon from the Tsarist era.

This bright blue guy was skipping effortlessly along his thorny path when suddenly stopped to stare at me.
You know that moment in life when you stop whatever you’re doing and you suddenly appreciate something more than ever before, because it simply works? This is the girl I spent the past fifteen days with and it’s the first thing that’s just been so easy in a long time. We went back to France, where we first met, together, saw people we were close to, went to places we used to spend time in, and it was lovely grasping a hint of all those feelings we left behind last year. Lisa is a part of my time in France I’m sure I will never lose, and I am incredibly thankful that I can share all those memories with her. We live almost seven hours apart here in Germany, but it’s never really mattered during the past year. When we got to meet again things were just like when we saw each other every day back in France, and I think it’s things like that that make you realize that you’ve found a very special person you should keep in your life.

Out Christmas shopping today and found a cute little shop in the country. It wasn't open so I wandered around the property and found a squirrel enjoying the the bird feeder treats.

Chinese New Year! In my photographs so far there hasn't been much of an indication of the time of year. Down at the waterfront you couldn't miss it.
Unfortunately, it being the New Year meant that things were shut or otherwise different from normal. Typically the famous Clock Tower at the Kowloon waterfront is lit at night. Not this time...
Another thing you're missing: Right behind us was a small crowd watching the rehearsals for the New Year Parade. I imagine it looked a bit weird; one tourist looking the opposite way entirely.

Hong Kong! Again! After the first time not working out so well (mostly due to my condition) me and my best friend Michael returned to do the bits we missed out on and generally have a few different experiences than before.

USA, Monument Valley.
The weather was bad and in an hour a big storm came (did you see my picture Storm on the Monument? yes, that storm!!).
This yellow bus stop sign was contrasting so well with the dark daytime sky and the monumental rocks on the background!
