Here's a twist on our previous dipped pieces--we used metal stools as a starting point rather than wood. The results look great and we have been using the stools (the unpainted base models) in the store and loving them.
Soon, the tourists will start bringing their own stool to sit on. The light here takes forever to turn green.

Self-development:
Once the sun starts hugging the horizon there's a street in Malacca, Malaysia, that closes to traffic and becomes a pedestrian food fair. It is called yonkers walk. This picture is along yonkers walk taken of the many different food stalls, enough to activate any salivary gland.
This little red stool sat in the bathroom with the scale atop it throughout my childhood. My grandmother bought it for me. I don't remember using it, but must have to reach my toothbrush.
I was delighted to see this in my sister's house.

We took 3 pictures of me in this pose but this was the only one I wasn't ready for. But it was the best one.
we decided to to head out on the hills on Boxing Day and went for a walk on Kinder Scout in the Peak District. It was a grey and windy day, but ever the optimists we headed out onto the peat. A very windy ascent of Jacobs Ladder was followed by an unexpected break in the weather when we reached the summit plateau. The sun broke through for about an hour and light was just amazing....
This southern edge of Kinder Scout is shaped by the effects of the harsh weather and altitude, being dotted with distinctive rocky tor formations. This is a side view of the Noe Stool withthe Pagoda and the Pym Chair in the background.

With a neat little found brass valve...I know it, looks like and drain hole. I wanted to plug some interesting extra on this and Pat Mitchell suggested take no prisoners hot red glass....
