I went on the annual Cragg Vale sponsored walk on sunday. The walk was about 5 miles and we walked up to Stoodly Pike. This is one of the shots I got of the renowned monument.

Heres some information about Stoodly Pike! Why not take a minute to read it.

I've always liked this picture, it reminds me of a good but cold day out

Stoodley Pike , W. Yorkshire

Be careful if you venture up to Stoodley at the moment as the tops are very treacherous with severe snow drifts and bitter winds.

Set off 3/4's of an hour early so that I could go into work the snowy way, at the end of the road there was a sign that said "Road closed Access only"

Dammit, that looked like a challenge!

Arrived 5 minutes late but feeling good.

I don't know why it is there, but it dominates the landscape. Be a bit rude not to photograph it in it's setting

First decent day in March, had a walk out on to the moors, ended up in West yorkshire.
