I play each week as part of the p&w band in our church.

Last night, about half an hour before practice began... I wanted

to see if I could capture a little of the sense of anticipation.

And what I concluded, is that while the gear is all here... ready

to go, I'm missing the human element. I'm wanting band members

wandering around the platform... talking and joking... doing

whatever it is they (we) do to tune up and get ready.

I love my '52 RI Tele... even though it's not the electric I find myself

using most of the time. And my THD class A, all-tube, (louder-than-

you'd-think) 18-watt amp, with twin 12 cab... and my pedals. And

I truly enjoy the anticipation of being a part of all that music that's

shortly to come. And so yeah... I like what's here well enough...

But still... I'm thinking that the story in this photo is incomplete.

I need my band mates. And another lesson is learned

by doing! =)

Very simple passive circuit - just a 3pdt switch and 6 jacks. The schematic is here: www.beavisaudio.com/techpages/PedalHacker/OrderSwitcher.htm

Plug in two stompboxes, and it routes the signal either a -> b, or b -> a. Often there's a huge difference in sound, so it's fun to play with.

The folks at ProGuitarShop got their hands on an exclusive run of 100 Kanji Eternity Overdrives made by Love Pedal. Mine just arrived in the mail and I can't wait to try it out. It's gonna rip for sure.

I put this together to help me wire guitar stompboxes correctly. With this layout the circuit is not engaged until a 1/4" mono plug is inserted into the input jack. This is 100% true bypass with the circuit input being shunted to ground when the stomp switch is disengaged.

This layout makes the most sense and causes the least amount of clutter in the enclosure. It does rely on having room for three ground wires to the circuit PCB, but this makes more sense than routing ground wires all over the place.

updated view of my stompboxes addiction.. collection, i meant COLLECTION!!

(first step is to admit it, I know...)

Remember the '90s? So does DOD.

Seymour Duncan Pick-Up Booster --> ProCoRat (customized) --> DeviEver Hyperion --> Boss Tuner --> EHX Freeze --> Voodoo Labs Chorus --> Custom Red Y/Tap

A --> 1972 Fender Super Reverb

B --> Lovepedal Pickle Vibe --> Boss DD-7 --> AC-4

I understand they're about to reissue these again. Maybe I should have sold mine already. Even though it's a reissue form the mid 90's, they're hard to find nowadays. I don't particularly want to sell it anyway. It's the best flanger I've ever used.

I should really look into completing a Roy G. Biv pedalboard...
