Alton & Southern Job 172 is seen poking crooked up the inbound lead with interchange traffic from A&S Gateway Yard to TRRA Madison Yard. This short distanced transfer is guided by UP's Alton & Southern inspired painted locomotive's 2204 & 2205.
A westbound CP autorack is just west of Woodstock, Ontario with St. Lawrence and Hudson lettered SD40-2 5593 leading GE 9833 on November 12, 2010.
Terminal Railroad's Hump Job is humping yet another cut of inbound traffic from Track 7 to be shoved over the hill and sorted into various tracks in the bowl. Providing the power are recently retired SD40-2s, TRRA 3002 & 3006.
Here is the combined Missouri River Runner/Lincoln Service swinging through this hilly curve near Kingsville, MO on the UP Sedalia Subdivision.
The venture coaches may look cool, but try sitting in one for 16 hours. You might wonder what exactly Amtrak was thinking with these. The seats barely recline and are pretty uncomfortable. However, the bathrooms are much nicer than the previous fleet.
Also, has anyone heard of flashing headlights? This one alternated flashing along with the ditch lights. Speaking of flaws with the chargers, I heard they don't do great in the cold. That makes one wonder if that has to do with all the cancellations of trains that operate with chargers.
To sum things up, shoot the P42s. They may look crappy, but nothing looks as hideous as this. They will be gone before we know it.
Dutchtown is a neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. It is called "Dutch" from Deutsch, i.e., "German", as it was the southern center of German-American settlement in St. Louis in the early 19th century.[2] It was the original site of Concordia Seminary (before it relocated to Clayton, Missouri), Concordia Publishing House, Lutheran Hospital, and other German community organizations. The German Cultural Society still has its headquarters there. St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church towers over the neighborhood and is a symbol of the neighborhood. - Courtesy Wikipedia
I do like to photograph bridges and especially with long exposures. This is an example of the Musial Bridge over the Mississippi River at St. Louis. Though I've broken every rule in the composition book, I love the bridge at the mid-point equally dividing the water and the sky.

The STL class was introduced by London General in 1932 and continued production until 1939. STL 441 was built after the formation of London Transport. Originally fitted with a petrol engine, it received a diesel engine in 1939. In 1948 in the body was rebuilt, but the bus was finally withdrawn in 1952.
In 1953 she was sold to a Dutch museum, but was purchased by the London Bus Museum in 1974. Following several years of operation by the LBM, a further full restoration was necessary, being completed in 2007. It is now presented in the post-war 1948 rebuild form. (onlineweb.com)
A remarkable chance to get three STL type buses together was possible today. STL2692 dating from 1946 leads 971J (STL1470) dating from 1936 and STL441 dating from 1934 stand near Matching Green in some lovely winter sunshine.
Weymann High & Lowbridge - STL2692 & RLH29 at Chiswick Gala.2/7/83. Although a good collection of London buses was assembled here I was disappointed not to find any Red STLs present.
