This is a north American stink bug or shield bug. He was bigger then he looks in the picture

It's about as bad as the 2010 year.

All these stinkbugs you see ended up in my bedroom. My son unknowingly let them in by pressing against the screen and popping one end of the screen out. Later, I arrived in my bedroom to find them crawling all over the curtains. Yuck...I couldn't even keep up with how many stinkbugs I had to catch, possibly over a hundred.

I certainly pay all stinkbugs more attention now!

Green Stink bug.. I THINK!! Looks slightly like a scarab, but I think this one is a green stink bug.

Nezara viridula

It was running so fast, this was the only way to get a decent picture of its lovely pattern.

This stinkbug was hanging out in the inside of the door leading out to my garage. I took some shots in place but when I turned I saw how beautiful it was outside so I scooped him up and relocated it to the corner of my deck railing out back next to the bird feeder. My presence scared the birds off long enough for me to get some shots and possibly from the stinkbug to make good his escape. It's a whole lot more fair to it then a 'burial at sea'
