A still life created by a wooden box left behind and taken over by the wind and sand.

Spotted during a walk on the beach on Vlieland.

Art is longing.

You never arrive,

but you keep going

During the renovation I did occasionally pick up the camera, because there were unique moments, like this still life ;-))

Have a wonderful start of your weekend!

submission for flickr Friday

This is NOT a painting. This is my photo of an artist's studio setup that I think could become a still life painting.

Shot with the Olympus E-M1 in Giverny, France in a hidden artist's studio just behind the Hotel Baudy and up the road from the home and gardens of Claude Monet.

I was left wondering if the artist who uses this studio ever considered painting her/his studio tools pictured here as a still life.

Cut flower; a chrysanthemum.

I'm not renewing my Flickr subscription this year.....first year since 2011 :-(

This picture was taken from a moving Intercity Train. I was travelling from Leeds back to London. The train was flashing through the Engish Countryside when I noticed this wind farm.

Thanks for visiting.....
