Taken in 2022, the mornings and cloud reflections off the still waters of Lake Griffin are truly dreamy.
Die Klosterkirche Riddagshausen habe ich euch gestern bereits im Bild vorgestellt.
Es ist eine dreischiffige Pfeilerbasilika in Form eines lateinischen Kreuzes.
Das Innere beeindruckt durch eine lichte, durch spitzbogige Arkaden klar gegliederte Architektur.
Selbst an trüben Tagen wirkt der Raum auch ohne Beleuchtung nicht düster.
Die quadratische Anlage der Vierung wurde für das östlich folgende Mittelschiffjoch und die beiden Querhäuser übernommen. Ein Hinweis darauf, dass die ursprüngliche Planung des Gebäudes dem „quadratischen Schematismus" der romanischen Architektur folgen sollte.
Direkt über uns im Seitenschiff erinnern die Bögen auch noch stark an die schlichtere Romanik, während im Mittelschiff (oberer Bildteil) bereits deutlich mehr Farbe, mehr Ornamente und mehr Zierrat verwendet wurde.
Dennoch ist diese Kirche eine insgesamt sehr schlichte...

The Arsenal building in City Star of Karlovac, from the end of the 17th century, after two decades of disuse and decay, lived in a parallel universe, then completed in last year's earthquake, was finally completely demolished in a controlled manner.
A complete renovation is planned at the same place.
La Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, duomo di Firenze, è una delle chiese più grandi d’Italia e fino all’era moderna è stata una delle più grandi del mondo, superata in ampiezza solo dal Pantheon. E' uno dei capolavori del gotico italiano e rimane ancora oggi il duomo in muratura più grande mai costruito.
Il duomo di Firenze fu cominciato nel 1296 in stile gotico su progetto di Arnolfo di Cambio e venne completato (tranne la facciata) nel 1436 con la realizzazione della magnifica cupola di Filippo Brunelleschi.
L’esterno della basilica è rivestito di pannelli di marmo policromi di varie forme, verdi e rosa bordati di bianco. Il complesso della cattedrale include il Battistero e il Campanile di Giotto. I tre edifici fanno parte del Patrimonio dell’Umanità dell’UNESCO.
La coppia di Re4/4 e Re6/6 SBB Cargo è al traino di un convoglio intermodale diretto verso il Gottardo e da lì in italia. Qui è ripreso a Sins, in discesa verso Arth-Goldau.
