This is William King's "Orpheus Coyote and Friends", created in 1999. There were originally 14 figures but most have rotted away. The two on the left, at least, are still standing, but a bit bent with age. It's by intent that the artists use mostly native materials and expect their creations to gradually return to the land.

Does anyone have any clue what it means?
I would not have guessed that this would be my most viewed and favorited photo. As of Feb 2006, it's been viewed 500 times and marked as a favorite by 23 people.

In the Belleville area of Paris, northeast, high on the hills and descending towards the river, the walls are a beautiful home to so much street art. Fabulous! These are inspired by AlainRoyParis' amazing street photos...........
I just returned from a week in Maui. It was my wife's idea.
