Thanks to Sterling Silverr for the texture. I should have called this the GREEN still life as it is all natural.
the littlest basket is only 1 1/2" or 4 cm wide. It is so cute. No work done today...I have been messing about taking photos all morning. Expect a rush of still life shots.

Blue Monday for me and I'm NOT happy ! Have been trying for days to renew my pro account only to keep being told my details do not match my yahoo wallet's. I have done everything possible as suggested by flickr/yahoo to delete old details, add new ones etc only to find I then had to change my password to get access to my account. This I did and I still can't get into my credit card details to check them again.
I have even set up a new account in my husband's name in the hope of gifting myself a pro account only to get the exact same message that HIS details didn't match.
Regretfully I am considering giving up on flickr except for the odd occasion.....with the free account I will be left with in 2 days time.....and going to another service such as redbubble.
Since flickr changed the way explore was selected I and many others have felt that the joy has left, and there has been a drop in photos posted by my contacts also. So I feel that it is time to say goodbye and thank you for all the lovely comments and generous people I have met here. Maybe I will drop in now and again....never say never.
No need to invite, I am not posting to groups, thank you anyway.

It has been raining off and on for days... so dreary and cold. Today I decided I'd venture outdoors during a brief pause in the rain. Surprisingly, I found that my garden walls were still stunning with all the colorful Spring flowers, some with heads bowed by the weight of raindrops. My perception of "perfect" weather is only that... a perception. The flowers and grasses are quite happy to drink up the rain and flaunt their wet jewels for me. Sometimes, I forget to be grateful for God's blessings... which include cold, wet, dreary days... that flowers happen to love ♥
