These earrings forms part of a Demi Parure set designed as a project article for Australian Beading magazine. The large vintage gold foiled backed stones (18x13mm) are Swarovski Crystals colour Vitrail Light. The beads surrounding the stone are right angle weave woven Metallic Blue AB 2x Swarovski 3mm bicones. Toho 11/0 sterling silver matt seed beads form the bail. Sterling silver earwires.

These were part of my mom's christma present. She only wears small post earrings...the complete opposite of me. :)

Fern leaves, sawed out from a sheet of Sterling silver hang from simple roundish earwires. I sanded the leaves to a silky smooth matte finish and then stamped each little sporangia (the little capsules containing the fern’s spores) one at a time. To really bring the sporangia out I oxidised the earrings and then polished the slightly.

These earrings are made with Swarovski crystals, sterling silver earwires, and glass flowered beads.
