"Steel Bars” by Michael Bolton
In the night I hear you speak
Turn around you in my sleep
Feel your hands inside my soul
Holding on and you won't let go
I try to run but there's no where to stay
I keep dangling and I just can't break these
Steel bars wrapped around me
I've been your prisoner since the day you found me
I'm bound forever til the end of time
Steel bars wrapped around this heart of mine
Trying hard to recognize
See the face behind the eyes
In your heart there's weights like chains
But my heart there still remains
I'm still running but there's nowhere to hide
My love for you has got me locked up inside these
Steel bars wrapped around me
I've been your prisoner since the day you found me
I'm bound forever til the end of time
Steel bars wrapped around this heart of mine
Every damn step I take
Every desperate move I make
It's clear to me
What could all my living mean
The time I tell is so obscene
Time itself don't mean a thing
I'm still in love with you
Steel bars wrapped around me
I've been your prisoner since the day you found me
I'm bound forever til the end of time
Steel bars wrapped around this heart of mine

... to protect you from falling down 190m from the Munich Olympic Tower. These are the sockets of the steel bars surrounding the upper visitor's platform.

Silhouette of a man walking alone in Kimber Lane at night, Haymarket, Sydney.
"In Between Two Worlds" - street art by artist Jason Wing in Chinatown.
By day this unassuming lane has been brightened by blue clouds and silver figures transforming an otherwise ordinary service lane.
By night the ‘spirit’ figures illuminate the lane with an otherworldly blue glow inviting visitors to explore this new addition to Chinatown’s vibrant night-life.
“I chose blue because Chinatown already has a lot of yellow and red, which can blend in. I wanted to create an experience like walking in between two worlds or travelling between heaven and earth,” Jason said.
Have a great weekend! :)
Heavy steel bars with a handle to move them back and forth is a door lock style that is very common in Morocco. They often tend to get stuck and are generally very noisy. I was informed locally that the noisiness was a design feature to give warning to any (Muslim) women inside that a man might be entering. (In this photo, the secondary part with the key hole has been added at a later date).
Taken in the Kennedy Heights neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Actually, I guess this is more correctly called a "rusty old iron gate".
Lots of rebuilding/repairs to this structure, makes me think it might have been bomb damaged (WW2).

Class 47/3 47373 was working well when recorded passing Bordesley Junction, Birmingham at the business end of 6V58 a steel service from Scunthorpe to Cardiff Tidal Yard. The freight was being banked from Landor Street Junction by Class 31/1 31301, the locomotive being just visible beyond the road bridge.

Behind the market, the arse of the world.
The stench of purifying meat or fish was overpowering :-(
