This one reminds me so much of my mother when she used to work for New York Life. My Dad would make her tea around 7pm and wake her up, start the car then drive her all the way to Manhattan to drop her off. Sometimes I go with them.

My mother would get up cranky every night to get ready for work - but she did it anyway! Then in the morning I'd leave with my Dad on the train to meet up with her at Broadway Nassau St. Then we'd hop on the 3 to Brooklyn Bridge and transfer to the 6 to my former private school. No matter how many times she did it she was always tired on the train ride home. . .
