This sunset shot was taken on Shell Beach in St. Barts. Except for right at the waters edge, the entire beach is covered in mounds of shells. Not great for bare feet, but beautiful to look at and a unique place to visit.
This mighty tree overlooks and appears to guard the port of Gustavia on St. Barth's. It has a nice view of the harbor.
This is Shell Beach on the island of St. Bart's The green has been stripped from the trees due to Hurricane Irma. I hope the green returns next year and that rebuilding starts soon. .
This plane is landing on one of the shortest international runways in the world in St. Barths. I hiked up a hill and waited 30 minutes along a busy road for the plane to land.
The plane has come over a hill and landed on the short runway in St. Bart's. Only small planes can land here due to the short runway.

The only way to get here is to boat in, or walk in 30 minutes on an old rugged goat path. I took the easier way and sailed in on a catamaran. The water was warm and clear.

I was filming the airplanes and during the time I was on the hill the rainbow shifted a bit and I got excited when I saw it's end was at this famous hotel. I have never stayed there but the reviews for it are amazing.
