"Just for some fun"
I was struggling to get some inspiration on what to photograph today.
Then there it was, sat right in front of me on my desk.
Baby Groot, this took a bit of time to set up and to get a shot that I fairly happy with.
I found a Guardians of the Galaxy II background, opened that on the laptop, I had to darken the room, placed Baby Groot onto a sheet of A3 Acrylic in front of the laptop, attached the camera onto my tripod with a remote release, also used a LED light with an orange filter to some warmth to Groot.
Z7, Z85mm f/1.8, ISO 100.
This normally busy street in the Claremont Village, California, is deserted due to coronavirus fears and restrictions.

This is an extremely difficult time for pretty much all of us. We cannot control the situation. But what we can do is keep ourselves preoccupied by doing things we love. Cooking and baking helps me stay sane and lifts my mood instantly. Spending time with my family and talking to my loved ones always help.
