"Just for some fun"

I was struggling to get some inspiration on what to photograph today.

Then there it was, sat right in front of me on my desk.

Baby Groot, this took a bit of time to set up and to get a shot that I fairly happy with.

I found a Guardians of the Galaxy II background, opened that on the laptop, I had to darken the room, placed Baby Groot onto a sheet of A3 Acrylic in front of the laptop, attached the camera onto my tripod with a remote release, also used a LED light with an orange filter to some warmth to Groot.

Z7, Z85mm f/1.8, ISO 100.

the single wafer was stuck on a toothpick through a blue tack and made to stand to get the required shallow depth of field

subject kept against the white reflector .. source light being window which was behind the reflector.

Shot with window/balcony light with reflector in between & also with a silver cardboard on the opp left of the subject to bounce the light on the bottle's left coming from the window .. Dulling Spray used.
