ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE LOCKHEED CP-140 AURORA
With a large shoreline to protect and patrol, Canada operates a fleet of 18 CP-140s, a derivative of Lockheed's P-3 Orion four-engined maritime patrol aircraft. Canada's fleet have been heavily adapted to perform a range of missions beyond the traditional missions over water and were recently in operation over Iraq carrying out overland intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. The Canadians also use the aircraft for search and rescue missions. Canada's CP-140s are operated by 14 Wing and 19 Wing. The aircraft attending the Air Tattoo is from 14 Wing based at Greenwood, Nova Scotia.

Static composition is fulfilled here because of the way the wood on the right encourages you too look forward. Some elements that make this image static is: shape the way the waves make lines with space in between each other, and overall orientation. In this picture i would say the point of interest is the humans at the end of the big board because of the strong influence it has on the photo.
I took these pictures in the middle of the day, by reducing exposure. It was the first time I tried this.

Yet another herd of highland coos spottedon the road to Buxton nr Newhaven. Not too spectacular backdrops and could only snap them from the edge of the road, so not as nice as Baslow Edge - but still lovely looking animals.
These were taken nearly a month ago on yet another dreary day.
My 100th animal upload (and only my 28th cow, which is surprising).
