Sorry I've been away so long. Got distracted by everything (work, kids, holidays) I guess, but the biggest culprit may have been my new XBox 360 and HDTV. I still can't quite get over how nice everything looks on the set. (including photos), and we've been watching a lot of movies and playing a lot of video games instead of watching television. (during the watching thereof is when I always updated my photos.)
Anyway, I've been missing doing it, and several people have mentioned to me that they've been missing seeing them. Besides, Rose has been trudging across the snow for far too long, I needed to save her.
Uma meta é um sonho com prazo. Dar um prazo ao seu sonho tira você do vago "algum dia". Com uma meta, o sonho adquire vida própria e cria um limite de tempo dentro do qual deverá ser realizado. Sua mente pode visualizar sua realização, o modo como você se sentirá, como a vida será diferente quando esse propósito estiver cumprido. O simples ato de escrever uma meta começa a liberar o poder e o impulso que o ajudarão a alcançá-la. Mas para chegar a isso é necessário planejar todas as etapas que terá de vencer para chegar lá.
Não tenha medo do poder que existe em planejar. Uma das maiores razões que geralmente impede as pessoas de planejarem é o medo do compromisso e de seu primo em primeiro grau: o medo do fracasso. Não há problema quando se trata de pensar no que precisamos fazer para realizar alguma coisa, mas se traçamos planos bem definidos e o colocamos no papel, não podemos fracassar.
Por isso, faça um planejamento realista e deixe-o ser a força motivadora que o levará até o fim. E lembre-se: a diferença entre um sonho e uma meta está no ato de escrever o plano. Se você não o escrever, sua meta permanecerá apenas um sonho de "algum dia".
Espero que seu 'algum dia' seja banido de sua mente e que seja dado o primeiro passo, a cada vez que uma meta se delinear em sua vida.

Well family we are still here in the hospital. After a huge battery of test lasting all week they still don’t know exactly what is going on with my wonderful wife’s liver. They have taken biopsies but those will not be in until Tuesday. What we do know is that her liver is just sitting there, static. It is not pushing things through like it should. We may end up going to a hospital in San Francisco! Yesterday was my mothers funeral/Celebration of Life, so I left T for a little while which hurt like crazy. But her mother and our sister-in-law watched over her! I was last night and will be here through thick or thin!

I had a go at creating a nike ad. I made it a 'static' version of nike as I thought the colours would go nice with the logo. Credit goes to the photoshop tutorial I used on PSDtuts.

Early morning walk.
A week since we last walked round Wilstone Reservoir. Barely light now when we get up at 5.15, and by 5.50 we were in time for a proper sunrise. There was a draining static heat but the red sky and brooding clouds gives some hope that the weather may break today.
In that week the farmer here has completed the harvest and already ploughed some of the fields. The summer is definitely on the turn.
