Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) is a division of the Nevada Department of Public Safety that is responsible for law enforcement across the entire state of Nevada. The headquarters is located in Carson City with regional commands in Reno, Elko and Las Vegas.
The duties of the Patrol range from enforcing the laws on the highways to operating the State's criminal history repository.

Pictured here at the HVCS Tyne tees run, Bents Park, South Shields, Sunday 3rd June 2018. Restoration was completed some 6 years ago, the seat coverings have recently all been replaced, so the owner was telling me. All work was carried out by him. A really nice job too, really looks the part. At another show recently, the owner also told me that some Americans were quite convinced that he had imported the car in this condition. Apparently not!!!

A brand-new military-grade MRAP behind the Florida Highway Patrol Troop D Headquarters in Orlando, Florida. The FHP provides the primary SWAT team in the state of Florida, able to serve warrants and other issues anywhere throughout the entire state. The SWAT team is comprised of the FHP with members of surrounding local and state agencies such as the FWC. The MRAP, a $500,000 vehicle in value, was aquired through a military surplus program for under $2,000.

A 2017 Dodge Charger of the Florida Highway Patrol parked at the turnpike headquarters near Lake Worth in Palm Beach County, Florida. The car features a newer lightbar, different lighting setup, and a new takedown pushbar that is being issued to all 2017 and 2018 Chargers across the state.
