Hopefully, in a couple of weeks, the ONE Capital Management/Motor Oil Matters GT$ Cayman will take the checkered flag under this famed flag stand and then drive straight to victory lane.

I start report about my 2015 NY vacation in the Crimea. I was there with my wife and my son. This is the first photo. It was the second day after arrive and the third day when the Ukraine switch off electricity. But we were prepared and we took about 3,5 kg of candles in your luggage... and I took it on the 7 floor by stairs with another 37 kg of things. But, if you something want very much you must do something for it. And .. A burden of one's own choice is not felt :))

I think I should've started the pictures with this one. I just got 'excited' when i uploaded the photos from the camera to my computer and began posting randomly without any proper sequence.

BIRA Race Circuit here in Pattaya hosted the start of the Grand Prix Racing League this weekend, as teams from all around began their quest to become Champions.

This weekend was the start of the season and the opening ceremony was a mass of dignitaries and racing organisers who officially opened this seasons competition. It was nice to see many people coming to watch, especially on the Sunday when the sun was shining and turning up the heat, a contrast from the previous days racing as the rain decided to pay a visit mid afternoon here in Pattaya.

The weekend was a huge success and the track and weather conditions put the teams, drivers and cars through their paces. Saturday morning was qualifying time and CEA Logistics set the pace, as Thomas Raldorf set a blistering pace leading the charge by a huge 2 seconds! It was clear for everyone to see that CEA mean business this season!

The races got underway mid afternoon and some impressive performances were given by the drivers as they negotiated the bends and curves of the BIRA race circuit. The teams were busy making those fine adjustments to fine tune their cars to perfection, and it was clear to everyone who attended that the heat was on as each team maxed out their cars!

CEA and Thomas Raldorf gave the performance of the day as they literally left the competition standing with an outstanding drive winning the race by a huge 7 seconds. If this is a sign of things to come then CEA really are in the driving seat!

Keep checking our events calendar for the next stage of the Grand Prix Racing League's exciting series.

Cougars gain momentum with invitational victory

McFarland had just dominated its invitational Saturday, so cross country coach Amador Ayon told his runners to take Sunday off.

Our readers recommend:

Top runner Alfonso Cisneros stayed quiet, but one of the other runners looked at Ayon like he was crazy.

"You know Alfonso's not taking the day off," the young Cougar said.

"Well, I'm telling him to take the day off," Ayon responded. "If that means he runs three miles instead of 10, well, that's his choice."

Such is life at McFarland, where chasing the school's 10th state cross country title is serious business -- and within reach, if early meets are any indication.

The Cougars dominated the five-kilometer Jim White Invitational, scoring 23 points to Madera South's 53 and Ridgeview's 82. McFarland runners finished 2-3-4 (Cisneros in 15:55, Eddie Garcia in 16:03 and sophomore Marco Perez in 16:04) and also placed juniors Eduardo Bautista sixth in 16:15 and Marco Camargo eighth in 16:17.

"We like to have a course that's a little more demanding, and for whatever reason, we didn't," Ayon said. "There were a lot of turns, and some areas were wet, but I was happy with the way the kids ran."

Foothill's Chris Schwartz, the defending Division I state champion, won the race in 15:42, erasing an early lead built by Madera South's Isaiah Lozano, who faded to ninth.

The rest of the top 10 was about McFarland serving notice that last year's third-place Div. IV state finish isn't good enough.

The team hasn't cut back on workouts at all yet -- with some runners, including the dogged Cisneros, making a long run every morning and then another in the afternoon -- and will take part in the adidas Cross Country Classic in Portland, Ore., in October.

All of that will be a prelude to the section meet Nov. 20 and state meet Nov. 29, both at Woodward Park in Fresno.

Ridgeview dominated its second straight girls race, placing five runners in the top 12 to rout Madera South 41-73. Foothill was third with 79.

Madera South's Alisha Brown won the race in 19:41, with Burroughs' runners Jennifer Speer (19:45) and Jenny Durtschi (20:07) in second and third. Ridgeview was led by Jessica Huizar in fifth with a 20:17.
