My friends and their girls took me to my first rugby game. During the last part of the game I took out my camera and snapped off a few shots of the girls when they weren't paying much attention to me. Since I was traveling & took it with film I didn't develop it until I got home in May. That is when I noticed that Sarah's lollipop (and hand) looked like she was lighting up a cigarette. Auckland, NZ, Taken with my 35mm Minolta SLR in April 2005.
Note: I do not condone or support smoking in anyway, especially not by children. This is NOT a cigarette, nor was it meant to be one. I simply thought it LOOKED like one after the fact.

We have a few warm days this week so we broke out the bucket and started another wine kit. This is a Pinot Noir from a Vintner's Reserve kit.
Telegraph Saddle Carpark to Sealers Cove Camp
(10.2 km, 3 hours)
A steady climb to Windy Saddle and then downhill through a beautiful ferny glade and forest to a boardwalk over Sealers Swamp. Check tide times to avoid a deep water crossing of Sealers Creek at high tide. The camp is 50 m on the south side of the creek.

“Wow! Are you kidding?”
since the starting blocks are in the shallow end, we couldn't use them for the Corporate Challenge - too much risk of someone diving too deep and hitting their head

Whitehall and Trafalgar Square, London, United Kingdom, Saturday 18 January 2025.
A line of Met Police vans from all over the UK awaits along Whitehall, while kettling is in progress at Trafalgar Square, during the 23rd national demonstration for Palestine.
The plaque on the last van indicates that it's from South Yorkshire.
The Nelson's Column can be seen in the background.
The original agreement between the Met Police and Palestine Solidarity Campaign, the main organisers of the demonstration, was that the 23rd march would start from Portland Place and end at Whitehall.
Two of the previous marches also started at Portland Place, where the BBC headquarters are located.
A few days before this 23rd march however, the Met Police backtracked on the agreement and declared an exclusion zone around Portland Place.
Subsequently, the march was further restricted into a static demonstration, constrained to Whitehall, which is about 1.5 miles (2.5 kilometres) away from the BBC headquarters.
After the demonstrators moved from Whitehall to Trafalgar Square the kettling and arrests started.
"This is what the rest of the world may see more and more of the United Kingdom, while British citizens may never again be allowed to protest against censorship and propaganda outside the BBC headquarters."
- Merton Friends of Palestine
Various statements have also been issued by the Met Police and Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
The Met Police has been exercising the powers granted to them in 2023 by the Public Order Act, also known as Public Order Bill, or Anti-Protest Bill.
This is an explanation by Amnesty International of what the Act entails:

After the heavy rainfall a couple of weeks ago we spotted these tiny toads that were everywhere. So tiny. A gentle reminder that everything starts small.
it's been a long haul ... organizing, packing, making all the arrangements, then painting and fixing up, installing shelves and so much more ... building shit-loads of Ikea furniture, not to mention the trips back and forth, and shopping for so many goddamn area rugs so that the dogs aren't killing themselves at every step ... the list goes on ...
and i haven't even really begun on the studio/office. it's hard to know where to start. i have to dissemble the computer and put it back together because it's a mess of wires and not even where i need it ... i need a new file cabinet .... SO much to figure out still.
but one thing remains ... my dog is always with me ... and her farts are never far behind. gag ...
There are certain things with very low chance, like not bumping into an M41 loco at any hungarian railway station :)

The 4daagse (4-day march) always starts on a Tuesday, with thousands of walkers crossing the Waalbrug. I got up to capture them against the sunrise, and the short sleep was definitely worth the view!
So it's been a while since my last appearance on here and after losing interest in doll photography (I still have my girls and they're all very lovely ^_^) I decided I might as well start over. So here I am. Hi. I'm 17 years old and photography is one of the few places I can feel free, one of the few places I can do whatever I want without any judgement. I haven't been doing much photography for a couple years now so I might be a little rusty and out of practice but hey - it'll come back to me eventually.
At this time I have no plans of uploading regularly, only whenever I have something I'm at least somewhat happy with and want to show off and since I'm dealing with a few personal things at the moment this might be a nice break from some of that. So here I am now and here is where I'm planning to be.
