I was leaning out of a window to try to get some shots of the juncos that were at my feeder. This little one noticed me and gave me a long stare.
This strapping young man is Rupert, he belongs to Lucy's owner as well. I photographed him yesterday while he was laying on top of the fridge, intently staring at me the whole time I was there. Call it a stare down if you may, because I did not take my eyes off him as I was told, he has a bit of a mean streak. !
Who do you think won this stare off contest?
If you guessed me then you would be correct. I've been told I have infinite patience with animals and none with humans. I tend to agree as animals make me happy and most humans not so much.
