Going through some old family photograph albums tonight and this one of my Mum's Sister Penny made me stop and stare and wonder what on earth is this machine from 1961 ?
My Grand Dad, Penny's Dad, did ride scooters so I'm assuming it's his but what is it ?

The hand's not as sharp as I'd like, but it was tricky shooting conditions (and I was sampling the local Easy Rider at the same time). Then again, he's 82 and maybe deserves a little soft-focus.

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Show at Sheffield’s Norfolk Heritage Park, Thursday 2nd June 2022. There was a fairground and lots of stalls, a craft fair, food, music, falconry from Owl Adventures UK, magic shows, Professor Jon’s Flea Circus, and the Vander Super Heroes Wheel of Death Show! This all led up to the lighting of the Platinum Jubilee Beacon at 9:45pm.
