Forget to post this one last week during the arena/night time series. Saw all these cars coming around the corner and thought it was a great chance to get some light trails!
Thanks for stopping by my friends, and enjoy your day!
I don't mind invitations, but please no big, shiny, flashing, glitter graphics, they will be deleted. Thanks!

A couple of enthusiastic Winnipeg Jets fans at the street festival by the Bell MTS center during the first game of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
After only 6 seasons in the NHL, they are the Champions! I've been a fan of theirs since the beginning so it was great since my Ducks sucked again this year. Elliot's team, the Penguins didn't make the playoffs this year so it was wonderful to see the Knights have such success!!! Congrats boys!!! 🎉🎉
Not all the cats wanted to participate in the Cup celebration this year so it was just Koji and Bodhi.
Chicago is a tough city and needs a little sports love every now and then. So proud of this team and franchise! This was from 2013 Stanley cup celebration. In the foreground is Maggie Daley park just under construction at this point and now complete this year.

[Update 06.05.08]: Although the Red Wings left last night with the Stanley Cup, the series was unbelievable. Detroit plays defense like nobody's business...and you gotta congratulate them. The Penguins will learn from this, and it'll only make them better. No one can question their heart or their ability. Not one of them should be hanging their heads today. GO PENS! See ya in a few months!
While I agree that this photo belongs in Explore, I did not take this photo. I posted this photo to celebrate the Blues Stanley Cup Championship. This photo has been widely published on social media, but unfortunately I don't know who took the photo to give them proper credit. It may have been taken by the Blues most excellent team photographer, Scott Rovak, but I don't know that for sure. By posting this I in no way claim credit for taking this photo.

Too bad I didn't get to post this before my team got knocked out of the playoffs. Just the same... Lord Stanley's Cup, in eight bricks.

The Pittsburgh Penguins captured their 4th Stanley Cup victory last night. Congratulations Pens!
This was taken after game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals. The building with the Pens Logo is the Gulf Building.
Taken with a point and shoot. No tripod just rested the camera atop a fence post.
Sadly, Kenesky's Sports, which opened in 1915, closed and was demolished in April 2016 to make way for new development.

It's a fresh start today for all 30 teams in the NHL. The pursuit of Lord Stanley's Cup should be in clear focus for teams and fans alike.

So my seats are right on the ice, and the section directly behind me is where all the players' wives and girlfriends' sit. You can always see the players looking up there in between periods, and I happened to catch Fleury doing just that!
Come on Pens, we can still do this!
I originally found this photo here at the Esquire Politics blog yesterday morning, but it has since made it everywhere. Photographed by Rich Lam during the Stanley Cup riot in Vancouver, this is a picture of--allegedly--an Australian resident of Vancouver kissing his girlfriend as city riot police marched down the haze-lit streets.
