Hello, here is a photo I edited from scratch in Adobe Photoshop in about 1 and a half hour but with increased speed. Model: Elia.
I captured this photo manually with my Sony Alpha 7R3 and a Sony Zeiss 50mm lens, 1.4
In this video, I show you a bunch of things like:
1) Using the most important settings in Photoshop to retouch a photo
2) Various techniques to modify and improve the composition of your image
3) Optimal use of the stamp tool to erase small and large disturbing elements of the image
4) A simple trick to remove all the grain from a photo without altering its quality
5) An effective way to correct white balance and tint
6) Techniques to retouch and boost the colors of the image
7) Use multiple layers in Photoshop
8) How to crop and isolate various elements in the image to allow you to modify only certain parts of the photo
9) Use the dodge and burn tools and the management of light and dark tones
10) Use brushes and eyedropper tools to directly repaint certain areas of the image
11) Targeted colorization of different elements of the image
12) Use different effects like blurring among others
13) Use the object deformation tool
And many other things...

f/14 | ISO 100 | 304 seconds | 18 mm (cropped)
To start out, I want to say that this photo idea comes from AndyK!'s photo (www.flickr.com/photos/andrewkay/7335157782/in/photostream). He did a much better job than I but I thought I would try my hand at this style!
My family took a trip to Flagstaff this weekend for Father's Day and in my class, I chose to study "motion"...basically, I chose to do night photography. This photo took about 10-15 minutes of planning and about 5 minutes of shooting. I am very happy with the result but wish my ISO was a little higher so that my sister (Katie) would have shown up better.
First of all, I did a CWB so that the green would show up more. Then, Katie and I set up rocks in the street as markers for every spot. To start, I spun the two domes (my newest tool!!) and then brought her into the picture to do the side people. I used a green gelled flash starting from the bottom right and then ending at the bottom left to make her show up. Next, we did the "Super Katie" which I used a green cathode behind her and then put my blue EL wire in her hands. Then I waved the blue EL wire all around the picture.
For editing, I cropped a good deal and stamp tooled some random cabin lights. I boosted the colors and levels a little but other than that, the editing was very simple. I am happy with the result but have some things to work on!
Coincidentally, 1 minute after I stopped the exposure, a car came down the road and would have ruined the picture if we were still going! We were so lucky! Also, we had to get everything out of the road before he came and when we started walking away I realized I forgot my flash in the middle of the road and had to run back and wave down the car to stop with my green cathode! He must have been freaked out haha!
Tell me what you think!
Photoshop stamptool painting. Didn't find the name or creator for these brushes, but I really love them. Textured with Trimoor's real canvas texture asnailpace.com/blog/textures/.

Just finished making ink swatches for my #altenew crisp inks. I have a fairly large assortment of inks, so just wanted to start out with the cubes. Initial review: gorgeous colors. All but the black had to be double stamped. I will provide a further review on my blog once I use them more. Thank you @jennifermcguireink for providing ink swatch templates. Your kindness is appreciated. #altenewcrispinks #inkswatches #stamptools #littlebugstudio

traciepond: @dolly_scrapthat I really want to dig in and use them with some of their flower stamps. Was thinking of putting stuff up for the night. Maybe I'll just stamp a couple of things and not finish until tomorrow.
dolly_scrapthat: Sounds like a plan Tracie! That's what I am wanting them for i my layered flowers
altenewllc: Perfect!!!👍👍👍
rubznaz: yours are so neat! mine are messy lol
traciepond: Thanks @altenewllc ... Can't wait to add more colors!!! They must be coming soon, right?! 😉
traciepond: Thank you @rubznaz the credit goes to #mististampingtool
altenewllc: @traciepond We're working on the new colors. 😄😄
lindsalita: I need to do this. 💪💥

Cropping 'n editing of background. This photo shot on the balcony of an Indian restaurant over Danube river in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Practice with the Scale tool in Photoshop: In Photoshop CS5, I hit the letter m to get the Marquee tool, and dragged accross the eyes. Ctrl-t to get the Free Transform tool, held the Shift key (to keep the proportions) while dragging a corner. Ctrl-d to Deselect. Hit the letter s to get the Stamp tool to fix artifacts (I did a lazy/lousy job to the left side of the left eye).
The nose looks smaller, so I used the grid to compare and confirm that the nose is the same size in both pictures. I learned from this that I could probably make a womans nose look smaller, at the risk of making her look like a fairy.
Off to a better start with the absorber this time around. I'm wondering if I grabbed the wrong thing the first time. Kudos to @laurafadora for coming up with this gem of a stamp cleaning tool. Look at the difference in the two stamps. The first impression I thought my stamp was clean. Then I cleaned stamp with absorber. Look at what came off my stamp. Then look at how much better my second stamping turned out. It makes me sad my stamps weren't getting clean enough, but now I'm happy to have learned something. And isn't that Caribbean blue lovely?! #absorber #laurafadorarocks #stampcleaner #stamptools #simonsaysstamp #littlebugstudio

junglebarrya: Hubbie has been using them for years for the cars. He would have killed me if I sliced a chunk off of one, hehe, so I had to get one for myself. 👍👍
yolierita: Now I have to go get me one. Thanks for the tip!
rcwidow: I just recently got one of those also. Like it so far.
stampin_style: I got a similar chamois, wet it n put it in a container like Kristina Werner does (which is wherr i learnt this trick from) but mine ended up in the bin coz it wen a little mouldy😖😫
traciepond: @stampin_style that is what my first one did and it left a bunch of fuzz on my stamps. I decided to give it another try because there are so many positive words about it. Maybe I got the wrong thing the 1st time around. This one I cut just a small corner off, the rest is in the freezer.
stampin_style: I did exactly what k werner does n even stored it in the exact same container so I don't know why it went mouldy. Can Anyone shed some light on what might help me
traciepond: @stampin_style I'm going to try storing mine in the refrigerator or freezer when I'm not using it. I will let you know how it goes.
ralucavezeteu: Awesome tip, @traciepond. Now to try to find it in my country☺ @andreeadiycraftyscraps ai vreo idee ce e aia aici, in Ro? Laveta normala de spalat vase?
I was at odds trying to pose these two dogs in front of this bird bath and bush to try and block the fence. I wound up getting this shot which I liked a lot but didn't care much for the fence behind them. I used the Stamp tool in my DPP software that came with my Canon Xti. I copied the sky down and copied some grass up as well. The idea was to make it appear as though the horizon was behind a hill of grass taking advantage of the low angle the shot was taken at. Doesn't look too bad, but not all that convincing either. I can't wait to get a copy of photoshop.
