Birds in the wintertime at Stadsgraven (Amager, Copenhagen, Denmark)
Taken with Horizon S3 Pro. My brand new russian "swing-lens" panoramic camera.
The last few weeks in Denmark have been exceptionally cold, with temperatures continously below zero. That means frozen lakes and canals! :)
(a sight that has become increasingly uncommon in the last decades - when will be the next time? No one knows...)

Christiania will probably soon be closed or "normalized". No matter what precisely happens after that, I'm pretty sure it newer again will be so charming and beautiful to take a walk around Stadsgraven on a sunny day as today...
Oh, and I wouldn't mind living in that house...
View from Copenhagen’s Freetown Christiania to Amager Bakke waste-to-energy power plant (built 2013-2018). The incinerator is super efficient and part of the Danish capital’s goal to become carbon neutral. And for fun, a rooftop park that doubles as a ski slope in winter with hiking and other activities for other seasons, is being finished in 2018.

Taking a selfportrait this way with a fisheye-lens makes the nose (even) bigger. But I still like the result:-)

The air was cold, but the sky and water were blue and beautiful. Mini skyline of Christianshavn from Amager Boulevard.

Stadsgraven is the canal which separates Christianshavn from the rest of Amager in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was originally a moat located in front of the Christianshavn Rampart as part of the city's Bastioned Ring Fortifications.
Stadsgraven was created when Christianshavn was constructed in the shallow waters off Amager in the early 17th century. Apart from the main Stads canal, there is a parallel Inner Stadsgraven along its northern portion. Stadsgraven is connected to the main harbour both north and south of Christianshavn.
There are four causeways and two footbridges across Stadsgraven. The principal crossing is located at the site of the former Amagerport, one of the city's four no longer existent city gates, and connects Torvegade, the main thoroughfare of Christianshavn, to Amagerbrogade, the main shopping street of Amager Side Copenhagen. Another dam is located at the southern mouth of the canal where it passes below Kalbebod Bastion, the southernmost of Christianshavn Rampart's 12 bastions. The last two dams are located at the other end of the canal at Holmen.
The two footbridges are located on each their side of Torvegade. The northern one, Dyssebroen, is located within the Freetown Christiania. The other one is an unnamed bridge located at The Panter's Bastion, roughly opposite the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, the tallest building in the area [Wikipedia.org]
