Naar ontwerp van Jan Wils (1891-1972), die in Amsterdam ook het Citytheater aan het Kleine Gartmanplantsoen ontwierp. Merkwaardig idee dat dit in mijn ogen nog steeds moderne bouwwerk over vier jaar een eeuw oud is.

Ook tijdens de vakantie rijden er op lijn 51 van het Brusselse tramnet nog enkele driedelige PCC’s uit de serie 7900. Sommigen zijn reeds uitgerust met een LED-bestemmingsaanduider, en waarschijnlijk zullen er nog meer volgen. Tot eind augustus is lijn 51 door werken in station Albert onderbroken tussen Zuidstation en Hoogte 100, waardoor deze tijdelijk in tweeën is gedeeld. PCC-stel 7959, nog zonder LED-aanduider, is hier net vertrokken van beginpunt Stadion en zet koers richting de provisoire terminus Zuidstation. In de achtergrond pronkt de Charles de Brouckèrefontein, waarin geen druppel water te bemerken was.

Das Olympiastadion Berlin befindet sich im Berliner Ortsteil Westend. Es ist Teil des Olympiageländes (ursprünglich: Reichssportfeld) und wurde 1934–1936 für die Olympischen Sommerspiele 1936 mit einem Fassungsvermögen von 100.000 Zuschauern an der Stelle des zuvor dort befindlichen Deutschen Stadions errichtet. Heute ist das Olympiastadion Heimspielstätte der Fußball-Bundesligamannschaft von Hertha BSC, die damit auch Hauptnutzer des Stadions ist.

The Olympiastadion Berlin is located in Berlin's Westend district. It is part of the Olympic grounds (originally: Reichssportfeld) and was built in 1934-1936 for the 1936 Summer Olympics with a capacity of 100,000 spectators at the site of the previously located German Stadium. Today, the Olympic Stadium is the home ground of the Bundesliga football team of Hertha BSC, which is also the main users of the stadium.
The rainbow colours against the blue marbled rock walls at Stadion metro station, Stockholm, represent the five rings of the Olympic movement.

Vanmiddag eerste prik gehad bij Haagse Kwartier 55. Ging allemaal heel vlot 8 mei tweede prik dus de verlossing is in zicht

Das sind typische österreichische Schul-Hausschuhe (in vielen Schulen sind Hausschuhe verpflichtend für die Schüler). Wurden seit den 1930ern von der Firma Stadion hergestellt, aber leider schloß der Betrieb Mitte der 90er.
Wenn jemand solche Patschen (egal, welche Farbe) in Größe 44 verkauft, bitte melden, per Nachricht über Flickr oder turnpatschen-stadion@yahoo.com .
These were Austrian school slippers (in most schools children are required to wear slippers), available for over 60 years, but unfortunatly the company closed down in the 90s.
