Focus stack of a drying recently hosed slab of concrete.

Running from Lincoln to the village of Harby in Nottinghamshire is a pleasant cycle path much used by cyclist and dog walkers. Where the path passes under the bridge carrying the B1190 road some two miles from Skellingthorpe, the same spot where I found the teddies, there are some tags painted on the underside of the bridge. This is one, another can be seen here.

Had time for a bit of fun yesterday. My daughter Becky has been given the use of a Sony DSLR A300 and asked for help in how to use it. Since we weren't far from Scarlett we went there because the waves were crashing a lot the day before. When we got there it was apparent that although it was still very windy the direction had changed. I would not have stood in this spot yesterday! For most of the time we were there the sun hid behind clouds but it did show briefly for this. We both took loads and I think she enjoyed herself. Maybe she will post one or two later. Anyway this is one of mine that I liked and you can see the stack quite clearly in yesterday's small photo its masked by the waves.

This has been tweaked a little in Coral Paintshop Pro.

One of the stacks on my truck.

When I arrived at this field the area was pitch black. When the sun's light first appeared, hay stacks dotted the landscape and were the first to greet me.

I spent six hours yesterday on Conception Bay, most of the time in a Zodiac with my wife, her sister and brother and their spouses. It was a fine day to be on the water. We circled the largest island in the bay, Bell Island. Among its many attractions are these, at the southern end. If you look closely, you can see a small motorboat about a third of the way from the left side. I would guess the stacks are about 60 metres tall.

Running hot ahead of the Northstar Commuter train, these stacks hustle through the Anoka Northstar Station with a clear shot to St. Cloud.

Just a little tester shot to try out my new Nikkor 50mm F1.8G Lens.. Thought id try a little bokeh since every1 else is doing it lol

Hope You Enjoy!

I finally found something that stayed still long enough for me to take several photos for a focus stack.

This is the first one I've tried with the mpe65 lens since I've had it.

It's 4 images taken at 2.5x and focus stacked using Zerene.

Not the best one you'll ever see, but hey, you gotta start somewhere :P
