Yesterday morning looking for warblers I heard a lot of noise from the crows and found this poor owl getting mobbed by them.

St.Albert last tried to erraticate the goldfish that have been getting out o control in small urban ponds. I guess they missed a few. They make great food for the bird and make a nice splash of colour for the photographers.

St. Albert’s 1906 and 1929 Albert Wheat Pool Elevators. Grain elevators are becoming more and more a rare sight in Alberta. These gems have been restored and are a reminder of our prairie heritage. St. Albert Grain Elevator Park in St. Albert, Alberta.
