Rather envious of the view from that terrace with the two yellow chairs.

Inter-club Falmouth Dinghy Challenge 2015

St Mawes Castle built around the same time as Pendennis to guard the river. Apparently there was going to be another castle built at Trefusis Point but it never happened.

Normally the door in the centre would be open to give access to the main tower. To maintain social distancing in 2020 English Heritage had worked out a one way route for visitors going round the lower bastions but not into the main part of the castle.

Very little editing. Almost out of the camera.

My last set of pictures before my camera got dropped in the sea whilst holidaying in Cornwall. Camera is now well and truely knackered and I have to see what I can afford so I can be flickring again. These 3 were taken specifically with Canis Major in mind.
