You might call me crazy for this one, but as a papercrafter I hate to waste paper. A few days ago I posted a card where I used @simonsaysstamp Folk Dance die to create my own stencil. This is that stencil, with all the ink on it. I just liked its messy look and bright colors so I backed it up with teal cardstock, framed it in shimmery yellow, added some @tonicusa Nuvo drops, and voilà. Paper rescued. Dashing rectangle dies by @ecraftdesigns, sentiment die and stamp by @pinkandmain. I'm entering this card in Simon's Flickr and Wednesday challenges.

This pattern reminded me of a flower pot or basket. So I decided to cut it down and add sss scalloped edge dies to make the rim. I used sss flowers from a previous release to add to the basket.

I think keeping the background simple and monochromatic really showcases the beauty of this die. I paired it with sss friends die from the stained glass love collection. The flowers are also SSS.

Keeping a monochromatic theme and added the hearts makes this a simple and clean card. Paired with SSS products.

As soon as I saw this stamp set from @simonsaysstamp #sssfriendlyfrolic release, it called to me. I colored the image with Copics, then heat embossed it in gold. For the background, I heat embossed the Modern Rose Blooms in @heroarts White Satin Pearl, then embossed a gold border (love how those powders look together). A teal border to match the feather and @tonicusa Nuvo drops for the finish.

I missed getting @simonsaysstamp Folk Dance stencil a while back, so I was thrilled when the design came out as a die with the #sssfriendlyfrolic release. So my first use for the die was...as a stencil😉. On glossy cardstock, I applied Distress Oxide inks through my homemade stencil, then a thin layer of Versamark, so I could layer Antique Linen over the whole piece. The colors got dulled a bit by that, so I applied a layer of Micro Glaze to bring them back. Sentiment die (@pinkandmain) and corners (@ecraftdesigns) on foil cardstock to finish.
